QI

Header Studio

QI Group's internal browser extension for adding custom request headers. Works in Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge. Setup takes about a minute.

How to install

1

Download and unzip

Download the extension below, then unzip it to a folder you will keep, for example Documents. The extension runs from this folder, so don't move or delete it afterwards.

⇩ Download QI Header Studio (.zip)
2

Open your browser's extensions page

Copy the address for your browser and paste it into the address bar:

Chromechrome://extensions
Edgeedge://extensions
3

Turn on Developer mode

Chrome: toggle in the top-right corner. Edge: toggle in the left sidebar.

4

Load the extension

Click Load unpacked and select the unzipped qi-header-studio folder from step 1.

5

Pin it to your toolbar

Click the puzzle-piece icon next to the address bar and pin QI Header Studio. Click the QI icon any time to manage your headers.

Good to know: if the browser later asks about "developer-mode extensions", click Keep. That prompt is expected for internally distributed tools. And remember to leave the unzipped folder where it is.
